I've been feeling overwhelmed lately by the amount of toys our kids have. We have 4 baskets +3 drawers in our living room, some of it has spilled into our cleaning closet, and couple cabinets full in our basement, plus the amount that they have in their rooms. Not to mention our outside toy bin as well that doesn't even fit all their outdoor toys. If I am feeling this overwhelmed, I can't imagine how they feel trying to manage all their stuff. If there's one thing I don't want to spend the majority of my life doing, it's managing stuff.
One way I wanted to help alleviate the toy situation in my 4 year olds bedroom was to reorganize his closet. We used to have two baskets of toys on the floor, book racks, and a couple other toy items sitting out. I really wanted space in his closet to store toys and clothes. So here's what I did. So much storage! I'll post later about exactly how I did this, but for now I'm just happy to check off one of the projects on my list for 2023.
